Job Summary

Manage global sourcing for assigned commodities and vehicle systems, identifying and evaluating strategic suppliers for vehicle software, infotainment, ADAS, and connectivity. Develop and negotiate comprehensive contracts defining deliverables, timelines, and performance metrics while driving cost competitiveness through pricing negotiations. Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers, resolving issues related to commercial, quality, delivery, and performance. Proactively identify supply chain risks and mitigate unforeseen problems, creating RFQs and analyzing quotations to balance cost, quality, and lead-time. Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and provide transparent updates to stakeholders on availability and project timelines. Travel 15-25% to visit suppliers for business and program reviews.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Finance discipline
  • 5+ years minimum Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Engineering experience with electronics
  • Experience with developing strategic partnerships with SW suppliers
  • Significant experience with creating and managing contracts (e.g. GTC's, MSAs, ESOWs)
  • Proficient in Excel, Power Point, Word, JIRA, Confluence, ERP systems (SAP or equivalent)
  • Travel 15-25% to visit suppliers to perform business and program reviews

Desired Qualifications

  • Masters preferred
  • experience with Vehicle/ automotive SW preferred
  • Product launch experience preferred
  • Open-minded self-starter with the ability to adapt, improvise and problem solve, as well as work independently on multiple tasks or projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of resilience to deal with urgent requests, and minimal information. Works well with various teams
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for results, strategy, and hands on execution
  • Creative, calculated risk taker with the ability to manage complex suppliers and resolve disputes while preserving relationships with suppliers and internal staff
  • Strong written and verbal skills as well as organizational and program management capabilities
  • Ability to mitigate unforeseen problems creatively and effectively
