Job Summary
Staff Global Sourcing Manager, Casting responsible for developing and executing commodity strategies for mechanical casting, leading end-to-end sourcing processes (RFIs/RFQs/RFPs), and owning supplier relationships to ensure continuity, cost efficiency, and quality. Collaborates with Engineering to influence technical design specs and manufacturing requirements; analyzes quotes and total cost of ownership; supports prototype builds and NPI-to-MP execution; negotiates commercial terms with suppliers; drives cost reduction, technology development, and supply chain resilience; monitors supplier performance and guides product strategy through the lifecycle; requires ability to travel up to 50% and onsite relocation to Costa Mesa, CA. Also responsible for risk management, term negotiations, and cross-functional alignment across engineering, procurement, and suppliers; candidate must be able to obtain/maintain a U.S. TS clearance and operate within a defense/aerospace context.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain commodity management of mechanical casting manufacturing, and/or sourcing engineering
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA
