Job Summary
Staff Geologist role supporting various environmental projects including Water & Wastewater monitoring, Phase 1 ESAs, soil/groundwater characterization, air sampling, remediation systems, and field oversight. Requires a Bachelor's in Geology or Hydrogeology, 0-2 years' experience, ability to work outdoors, perform technical writing, travel, and work collaboratively in a client-facing environment. Expect field work, data reporting, and coordination with senior staff; typical Monday–Friday schedule with some travel and potential extended deployments for emergency response.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geology or Hydrogeology
- Zero to two years of environmental-related work experience
- Ability to work outdoors, traverse moderate terrain and lift up to 50 pounds
- Technical writing competency
- Strong technical and computer skills
- Self-starter, quick learner and effective communication skills
- Ability to travel
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- GIS experience a plus
