Job Summary
Join an established and growing team as a Staff Geologist I or entry-level Environmental Scientist, engaging in Phase I and Phase II environmental projects. Responsibilities include supporting field investigations, environmental monitoring, regulatory documentation, and completion of environmental reports. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with strong analytical and communication skills, and a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field
- Professional Geoscientist in training (GIT) will be obtained within four years
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to access federal facilities or obtain Common Access Card (CAC)
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds
- Must be able to access and navigate job sites and construction areas
- Must be able to work prolonged periods in the field (over 8 hours/day) including standing, squatting, and lifting
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions
