Job Summary
Develop procedural generation software and techniques using Houdini, Unreal Engine, and Python to automatically create realistic 3D environments and objects from real-world data. Optimize visual quality, realism, and performance in modern game engines while balancing technical challenges on commodity hardware. Collaborate with Pipeline and AI/ML teams to refine data flow and contribute to design road mapping for game environment compatibility. Partner with leadership to align technical execution with high-level product vision. Fully remote position with a salary range of $140,000 - $175,000 (bonus eligible).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience, ideally within a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment, demonstrating a proven track record of success and leadership in the gaming industry
- Experience with Unreal Engine, Unity, or other similar game engines, including proficiency in developing interactive applications, optimizing performance, and implementing real-time 3D graphics and gameplay features
- Proficient in both C# and Python, with a solid understanding of their respective ecosystems and the ability to leverage these languages for software development, scripting, and automation tasks
- Fully Remote

- Extensive experience with procedural generation tools such as Houdini, Unreal Engine's PCG (Procedural Content Generation), and/or Blender
- Team-oriented and collaborative approach with a demonstrated aptitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn new methods, tools, practices and skills
