Staff Full Stack Software Engineer

Job Summary
Rapidly develop and deploy new features for the robot fleet management system while maintaining high quality and maintainability standards. Collaborate with engineers, product, and operations teams to identify key pain points, assess incoming work, and proactively develop solutions for root problems. Debug and resolve issues as they arise, perform post-mortem analysis to reduce future problem likelihood, and document new work to ensure widespread adoption. This role supports Boston Dynamics' mission to lead in automation solutions for industrial applications and warehouse logistics by integrating factory asset data, building 3D worldmaps from point cloud and visual data, and developing strategies for robot traversal.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience in some or all of the expected tech stack: C++, Typescript, node.js, React, Three.js, SQL, Python, Linux, AWS/GCP, protobuf
- Demonstrated project work, whether hobbyist or professional
- You should be able to talk about decisions made during projects in detail
- Experience delivering complete software products - from feature requirements through support in the field
- Prior experience working with hardware, IoT, and/or 3D engines is ideal, but not necessary for this role
Desired Qualifications
- Android experience a strong plus
- Experience with 3D rendering, mapping systems, complex data structures is beneficial
