Staff Front End Engineer - AI Product UX - US - San Francisco (Hybrid)

Staff/Principal Front End Engineer to define AI-assisted underwriting UX, own cross-platform frontend and design system, mentor and recruit engineers, and ship features quickly. You’ll design workflows that help underwriters, processors, and loan officers confidently work alongside AI systems, build intuitive UX patterns for explainability and human-in-the-loop review, and collaborate with leadership (Head of Design and CTO) to shape the platform’s interaction model. Skills include React and TypeScript proficiency, architecture of scalable frontend systems, and experience with AI-native interfaces or data-dense applications, particularly in document review or workflow products. Hybrid work arrangement in San Francisco, with a focus on delivering end-to-end frontend capabilities for the underwriting process.
