Job Summary
The Staff FPGA Modeling Engineer will create FPGA based models of ARM and DSP based SOCs and complex intelligent Automotive Audio Bus ASICs, requiring a strong understanding of FPGA design, programming with Verilog, VHDL, RTL, and expertise in timing closure. The role involves writing real-time embedded device driver Test software, performing complex debugging, and collaborating with various teams on large and high-speed SOCs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of FPGA experience
- Deep understanding of FPGA design and programming with Verilog, VHDL, and RTL
- Ability to perform complex system level debugging
- Solid understanding of FPGA structures and timing closure techniques
- Ability to write real-time embedded device driver Test software
Desired Qualifications
- Expertise in Verilog
- Expertise in timing closure and memory modelling
- Experience in script writing (Python preferred)
- Proficient in C/C++
- Experience in FPGA modelling
