Job Summary
Read and redline electrical schematics and mechanical assembly drawings to assemble, wire, and test custom equipment. Run conduit, pull wire, and terminate connections in the field while installing, upgrading, and removing products for client sites. Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and complete final commissioning and integrated acceptance testing in accordance with industry standards. Provide on-site end-user training on system operation and limited troubleshooting. Requires active security clearance and frequent travel to customer locations.
Required Qualifications
- ability to understand both mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
- understanding of low voltage wiring systems
- ability to read and redline design drawings
- ability to translate these skills into both shop and field install activities
- ability to work well in a team environment
- provide innovative feedback and problem solving to teams of engineers and technicians
- background in the above-mentioned skillsets
- ability to work in a flexible, high paced environment
- Must have the ability to gain and maintain a security clearance
- Must have at least 5 years' experience in work that directly relates to the above position description
- Must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Desired Qualifications
- Experience working under OSHA guidelines
- Work at or in direct support of a government installation
- Active security clearance
