Job Summary
Senior Staff Field Applications Engineer responsible for leading technical engagements in power solutions. Architect complete power systems from AC/DC front end through DC/DC conversion and point-of-load regulation, identify and drive new product opportunities in collaboration with Product Line teams, and mentor junior FAEs. Deliver technical seminars, workshops, and hands-on demos of ADI’s power design and simulation tools; work with Sales, Business Units, and Technology Groups to influence roadmaps and ensure customer success in high-growth markets such as data centers, communications infrastructure, automotive, and industrial systems. Travel 20–25% within territory; collaborate Cross-functionally to optimize designs for efficiency, thermal performance, reliability, and cost. Qualifications include a BSEE (required) with MSEE preferred, 6+ years in power circuit design, and strong communication and leadership abilities.
Required Qualifications
- BSEE required; MSEE preferred
- 6+ years of experience in power circuit design at the board and system level
- expertise in high-efficiency DC/DC conversion, multiphase regulators, battery management, power modules, or high-voltage conversion
- familiarity with signals conditioning and data converters
- excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with technical and executive audiences
- ability to lead technical discussions, influence product strategy, and mentor team members
- strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- hands-on lab skills for troubleshooting and design validation
