Job Summary
Lead engineering and system-related projects within warehouse operations, focusing on automation, material handling, and warehouse management systems. Drive the design and implementation of process improvements to enhance safety, reliability, and efficiency while acting as change owner for system enhancements. Support compliance with GxP, GDP, FDA, and ISO requirements, ensuring systems remain qualified and validated. Interface with Operations, IT, Quality, and external suppliers to align engineering initiatives and lead CAPEX and OPEX projects from concept to handover. Apply Lean principles to identify bottlenecks and sustain improvements in highly automated distribution environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent experience
- Relevant experience in warehouse operations, supply chain or industrial environments, preferably with automated warehouses
- Strong affinity with IT/OT systems and warehouse management/execution systems
- Experience in engineering projects related to automation, logistics processes and system implementations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Flexibility to work from both our Beerse and La Louvière locations, depending on business and project needs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with SAP eWM and/or other warehouse execution or control systems
- Knowledge of qualification and validation activities in a GxP-regulated environment
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or structured project management methodologies
