Staff Engineer, Test Development - Thermal

Staff Engineer, Hardware Test - Thermal plans, executes, and analyzes thermal and mechanical tests for trays, racks, and related equipment. Develops test plans to measure capability against specifications, creates data collection methods, and builds scripts to read data from prototype computers. Interfaces with lab equipment via RS232, Ethernet, USB, and Bluetooth; coordinates lab resources; directs lab technicians; analyzes data and presents results to engineering teams and customers. Emphasizes design of experiments, automated testing methods, and establishing best practices for test development and execution across local, regional, or global teams. Requires knowledge of DAQ systems, flow bench, CDU specifications, temperature probes, and various sensors; 7 to 10 years of related experience; Bachelor degree or equivalent preferred.
