Job Summary
Staff Electrical Engineer with high voltage substation design experience leading single-discipline substation projects for utility clients, covering lifecycle activities from engineering through EPC up to 765kV. Responsibilities include serving as technical lead, coordinating design teams, developing protection and control deliverables (relays, diagrams, wiring), physical design deliverables (yard layout, grounding, lightning protection, power systems), conducting quality reviews, preparing BOMs, managing budgets/schedules, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, presenting proposals and updates, mentoring junior staff, supporting business development, and traveling to client/vendor sites for design reviews and field verification. A PE license is required.
