Job Summary
Staff Engineer with a Bachelor’s in civil engineering or related field, 2+ years in land development and civil site design, and proficiency in Civil 3D/AutoCAD. Responsible for designing site layouts, drainage, utilities, and roadways; interpreting zoning and regulatory requirements for project compliance; providing technical guidance through design to construction; collaborating with architects, planners, environmental consultants, and other specialists; promoting sustainable design practices including green infrastructure and smart growth. Licensure path (EIT/PE) is preferred. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
- 2+ years of experience in land development and civil site design
- Working towards licensure and/or are an EIT or PE is preferred (SC and/or NC)
- Strong knowledge of site design, stormwater management, and regulatory processes
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and other engineering software
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to engage with clients and project stakeholders
