Job Summary
Staff Quality Engineer to join our team in the Bermudez Plant in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. You will participate in new product development, sustaining, investigations and cost-reduction projects, and oversee adherence to PDP procedures. You will create quality deliverables (control plans, packaged product reviews, and retrospective reviews) for new product development projects, collaborate with NPIs and Operations Quality to improve design for manufacturability, introduce poke yoke, conduct random process audits, and lead the resolution of design-related customer or internal complaints. You will support lab nonconformances, participate in D and PFMEAs, monitor completeness and proper ratings, and drive improvements to reduce deviations. You will also support the Quality Monitoring Program, review test plans/reports, and analyze product/process deviations. Strong emphasis on problem solving, root cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, with proficiency in quality tools and software. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in engineering, 3-5 years of manufacturing quality experience, and excellent English communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related areas.
- 3-5 years’ experience in Quality Area within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality concepts, problem solving and process improvement techniques, root cause analysis, 8D methodology, FMEAs, control plans, SPC, CpK, DOEs, poke yoke, PPAPs, FAIRs.
- Proficient in English language (written and spoken) +80%.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, work independently, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently with individuals at all levels of the organization.
