Job Summary
Staff Engineer Quality leads the quality engineering strategy for a large-scale Admin Platform across UI, API, and integration layers. You will define test architecture, automation standards, and best practices, champion an automation-first mindset, design and evolve test frameworks (Playwright/Selenium) and maintain robust UI, API, and integration suites for admin workflows and multi-tenant scenarios. You will collaborate in design reviews, integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, mentor other engineers, and promote modern QA tooling and practices. The role requires deep experience with Java/Python, SaaS and RBAC/multi-tenant architectures, and strong automation across UI and API layers, with a passion for driving quality across a global fintech-focused platform.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering with strong hands-on automation expertise
- Proven experience designing and owning test frameworks for large-scale web platforms
- Hands-on expertise with Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent UI automation tools
- Strong experience in API automation (REST, JSON, OAuth) using tools/frameworks like Postman or custom solutions
- Solid understanding of SaaS platforms, multi-tenant architectures, and RBAC/role-based access systems
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or equivalent languages
- Deep understanding of non-functional testing: performance, scalability, reliability, and security
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
