Staff Engineer Propulsion

Senior Propulsion Engineer responsible for analysis, design, and testing of propulsion systems (electric, solid/liquid fuel rocket, thrusters) for launch vehicles, missile systems, and space mission systems. Coordinate strategy for developing and leveraging multi-disciplinary design, optimization, and analysis processes to support mission requirements. Define and coordinate the conduct of testing required to evaluate design work. Roles include mentoring early career engineers, overseeing manufacturing and supplier activities, and applying engineering principles to propulsion-system development. Required background includes BS in Mechanical Engineering, extensive experience with energetic materials (HTPB non aluminized propellants), Divert Attitude Control Systems, and exposure to materials like refractory metals (rhenium, tungsten); includes cross-functional collaboration and leadership in design, testing, and root-cause investigations.
