Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated Staff Engineer to manage moderate to complex geotechnical projects in the power and renewables sector. Responsibilities include developing scopes of work and proposals, reviewing field logs and soil samples, performing engineering analysis and quality reviews, managing project scope and schedule, and ensuring client expectations are met. Required skills include excellent communication, strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a valid driver’s license are mandatory, with preferred experience in construction materials testing and large scale projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BS) in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering field required
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Ability to travel up to 15% of time
Desired Qualifications
- Two or more years of construction materials testing or geotechnical engineering experience
- Previous experience with large scale construction projects
