Job Summary
Plan, implement, configure, and support OpenShift systems and applications to ensure high availability and alignment with enterprise standards. Respond to complex OpenShift issues and escalations, performing root cause analysis to minimize downtime and restore services efficiently. Develop automation tools for provisioning, management, and security while leading enhancement projects that drive improvements in performance, security, and scalability. Collaborate with IT teams and business units on cross-functional projects, including infrastructure, security, and large-scale outage recovery across OpenShift environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge in independently diagnosing and resolving intricate issues across interconnected programs and systems
- ability to develop and implement effective, innovative solutions
- typically requiring a minimum of 6+ years of experience
- 3+ years of experience with architecting, building, and supporting production OpenShift clusters
- Extensive experience in managing complex project and solving advanced engineering related issues
- Experience with project management methodologies
- Strong knowledge in designing, analyzing, and optimizing complex systems or products
- Advanced knowledge in specific engineering disciplines and technologies such as Microsoft 365 Technologies, Azure Active Directory
- Ability to align engineering projects with organizational goals and contribute to strategic planning
- Ability to lead technical teams and provide direction on complex technical issues
- Experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes storage such as PortWorx
- Experience with ArgoCD (GitOps) technology and best practices
- Experience installing, maintaining, and upgrading Operators
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced experience in Microsoft Office applications
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Red Hat Certified Engineer + OpenShift Specialization certifications
- Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) certification
