Job Summary
Staff Engineer - Mechanical Design responsible for designing mechanical products using SolidWorks, UG or Catia, managing the design process from concept to DVT, and ensuring adherence to first principles of design. Must coordinate with cross-functional teams, perform relevant mechanical calculations, and apply DFMEA. Proficient with Teamcenter for PLM, BOM creation, ECN/ECR processes, and capable of travel as needed. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and 5–9 years of mechanical product design experience, with hands-on work in SolidWorks (sheet metal, complex assemblies, drawings) and familiarity with manufacturing processes. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- 5 to 9 years of experience in mechanical product design
- Hands on experience in SolidWorks, Sheet metal, Complex Assemblies & Drawings creation
- Experience with Teamcenter, BOM creation, ECN, ECR
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, UG or Catia
- Experience with Team Center for PLM
- DFMEA knowledge
- ECN and ECR processes
