Job Summary

Lead complex engineering and Margin Acceleration Program initiatives, managing projects from concept through implementation while ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards. Serve as technical lead for cost-saving initiatives, developing schedules, budgets, and resource plans while conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define validation activities, mitigate risks, and enforce safety and compliance requirements across manufacturing and supply chain operations. Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and drive continuous improvement efforts that enhance efficiency and operational excellence within the MedTech Surgery team.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or related discipline)
  • 6-8 years of engineering, manufacturing, project management, or operational excellence experience within a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Experience leading complex engineering, manufacturing, capital, or operational improvement projects
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budget management, and risk mitigation
  • Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Knowledge of validation processes, including equipment, process, product, and component validation
  • Experience managing capital and expense project budgets
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing, engineering, quality, and operational processes
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders in a matrixed environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Experience utilizing project management software and tools
  • Working knowledge of GMP, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience in Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, or other regulated manufacturing environments
  • PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification
  • Lean, Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or Continuous Improvement certification
  • Experience supporting cost savings, margin improvement, or operational excellence programs
  • Knowledge of supply chain integration and manufacturing scale-up activities
  • Experience with capital equipment implementation and facility improvement projects
  • Exposure to new product introduction (NPI) and product lifecycle management activities
  • Experience mentoring engineers and technical teams
  • Advanced proficiency with data analysis, reporting, and project portfolio management tools
