Job Summary
Staff Engineer, Manufacturing in NGMS Global Supply Chain Supplier Management Team. This remote role focuses on managing and interpreting supplier/subcontractor schedules to understand program impact, maintaining an integrated master schedule, monitoring supplier performance, and defining material strategy to ensure on-time delivery. Responsibilities include developing NGMS Statements of Work, evaluating technical subcontractor deliverables, supporting RFIs/RFPs, performing technical evaluations of supplier proposals, and preparing executive-level briefings. Requires 12+ years of related experience (or Master’s with 10+ years, or equivalent), US citizenship, and eligibility for a Secret clearance. Travel up to 50%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience to include supply chain, program management, business management or related
- Master’s Degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain, program management, business management or related or an additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of a Bachelors degree
- At least 3 years of experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and/or large supplier management portfolio experience in other industries
- At least 3 years of financial experience in EVMS or similar cost and schedule management systems
- At least 2 years of experience managing a Program effort or Major Subcontract (in either a supply chain, SMT, or program/project management role)
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
