Job Summary
Facilitate Event Objective Worksheets and interface with MDA and Command Center personnel to gather status updates and resolve operational issues. Develop solutions to complex technical problems, prepare operational plans and briefing materials, and represent the C2BMC National Team within the User community. Define roles, missions, and system requirements while working with the National Military Command Center and international partners to integrate C2BMC into operations centers. Requires a current Top Secret clearance, 12+ years of experience, and 10% travel availability.
Required Qualifications
- Top Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited university
- 12 years of experience
- Willingness to travel 10% of the time
- Experience in a joint or service command headquarters staff
- Understanding of the operational environment
- Knowledge of how Command and Control Systems are used in an Operations Center
- Ability to be part of a C2BMC Warfighter LNO team tasked with supporting command and unit-level command and control, battle management, and communication systems
- Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
- Experience briefing at the general officer/flag officer level
- Self-starting problem solver with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- U.S. Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field
- 10 years of relevant work experience (alternative to degree)
- 16 years of relevant work experience (alternative to degree)
- Previous experience with Missile Defense and with a Command and Control system
- Knowledge of the Joint Staff environment, processes, and personnel
- Experience with the Integrated Tactical Warning and Attack Assessment (ITWAA) systems
