Staff Engineer - Automation & Manual Testing

Job Summary
Develop verification and validation strategy and plan to meet SDLC requirements within project timelines. Create and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases using Python/Java with frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, or Pytest. Conduct manual/exploratory/formal testing, execute test plans, and verify bug fixes. Participate in Agile ceremonies, contribute to test planning/estimation, and drive QA process improvements. Perform non-functional testing (accuracy, reliability, performance). Support other projects during R&D phases. Travel up to 20%. Role supports remote work from alternate workplace.
Required Qualifications
- Educational degree of BE/B.Tech/ME/M. Tech in Computer Science/ Electronics/ Electrical Engineering
- 7-11 years of experience in Software Testing (Automation & Manual)
- Hands-on in test automation framework & script development using Python, Java
- Experience with Selenium, Cucumber or Pytest
- Knowledge of software configuration/version control and bug tracking tools
- Proficient in SDLC, Test Methodologies, Bug Lifecycle, Test Case development, and Risk Assessment
