Job Summary
Staff Engineer in Solid Waste practice collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to service client needs across civil/environmental projects. Responsibilities include preparing/reviewing design drawings and investigation reports, observing field work, performing and verifying technical calculations, applying civil/environmental engineering principles to develop solutions, preparing technical reports and permit applications, and coordinating with project team and stakeholders to meet deliverables. Travel to job sites and occasional overnight stays are required. Preferred qualifications include E.I.T. certification or potential to obtain certification. Physical requirements include mobility, lifting up to 35-50 lbs, and the ability to navigate uneven terrain. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering
- Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D
- Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel and overnight stay
- Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel
