Job Summary
Apply AI-assisted development techniques to real-world product and platform challenges, including code generation, test creation, static analysis, and dependency refactoring. Partner with product engineers, DevOps, and the Development Platform team to integrate AI-driven workflows into existing systems and translate proven techniques into reusable platform services, SDKs, and frameworks. Drive special initiatives focused on high-impact efforts like codebase modernization, performance refactors, and CI/CD workflow automation while mentoring peers on the effective and responsible use of AI in day-to-day development. Shape the technical strategy for how AI integrates into the developer platform, engineering practices, and long-term product delivery roadmap.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- technical leadership across squads or groups
- Strong hands-on coding skills
- experience delivering production systems across complex codebases
- Backend or fullstack expertise in one or more of the following: backend technologies (Node.js, Kotlin, Java, Python, Go), frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, Next.js), or mobile (React Native, Swift, Kotlin/Android)
- Demonstrated success using AI tools to improve engineering productivity
- AI-assisted code generation or review
- Automated test authoring and analysis
- Intelligent refactoring or code quality tooling
- Workflow orchestration with frameworks like LangChain, MCP, or similar pipelines
- Experience with CI/CD workflows
