Job Summary
Senior Staff Engineer to design and develop scalable distributed file system software for Nutanix Files. Lead technical design and delivery across hybrid and multi-cloud environments; provide end-to-end ownership of features; mentor team members; collaborate with product managers, architects, and other leads; develop converged compute + storage solutions for secondary data; drive innovation and high-quality software in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science or related fields
- 11 years of relevant industry experience
- Strong experience in C++ and systems programming
- Experience building scalable fault-tolerant distributed or cloud native systems
- Mastery in Files domain with deep understanding of File protocols like NFS, SMB, ZFS
