Staff Embedded Software Developer

Staff Embedded Software Developer responsible for implementing and maintaining software powering the TLS stack and UTM feature set (Anti-Virus, Web Filter, Data Leak Prevention, Anti-Spam) for Fortinet/FortiGate. Build and improve TLS-related networking components, stay current with application-layer protocols, promote best coding and design practices, and contribute to product improvements based on hands-on use. Collaborate to research and define new technology areas to enhance existing or future FortiGate features. Skills include C/C++, Golang, Rust, Linux/UNIX environments, TLS/TCP/IP, socket programming, Git, and scripting (Shell, Python, Perl); familiarity with security concepts and networking is expected. Education required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
