Job Summary
Staff Electrical Engineering Technician supports nuclear design projects within the Power Providers Market Sector, contributing to electrical systems design like duct bank design, cable tray design, grounding, and lighting for advanced power facilities. The role focuses on creating and modifying electrical design drawings using industry tools such as Bentley MicroStation (and other Bentley tools), with AGI32 experience preferred for lighting modeling and calculations. Responsibilities include developing and modifying technical deliverables, applying engineering principles and BV standards, providing guidance to other engineers and technicians, reviewing inputs to ensure deliverables meet codes and project requirements, applying the BV Quality Program, and potentially supporting field activities or plant start-ups. The position is hybrid with flexible work options after the initial period and is part of an ESOP-owned company. The compensation is listed by state and reflects base salary ranges for Colorado and Minnesota.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate required.
- Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
