Staff Electrical Engineer

Job Summary
Lead design and development of high-speed digital circuits (focusing on x86-based architectures) and analogue/power circuitry for networking devices. Collaborate on schematic capture and PCB layout to ensure signal and power integrity; perform simulations, verification, testing, and debugging of hardware prototypes. Define and execute Design Verification Testing (DVT) plans to secure regulatory approvals, manage BOMs, and support transition from design to manufacturing. Role requires 10+ years in electronic design, proficiency with Cadence Allegro/OrCAD, SPICE, Linux, and Jira, plus strong cross-functional teamwork and hands-on hardware expertise to deliver hardware across the life cycle. Responsibilities span from proof of concept through certification and product debugging, with emphasis on high-speed digital design, analogue design, power supplies, EMC compliance, and lifecycle management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in electronic design
- Proficiency with Cadence Allegro / OrCAD toolchain (or similar ECAD tools)
- Experience with SPICE or other circuit simulation software
- Familiarity with agile project management and Jira
- Working knowledge of Linux environments
- Solid understanding of network switching and routing technologies
- Familiarity with designing for electrical and environmental compliance (CE, FCC, RoHS, REACH)
