Job Summary
Staff Engineer, Power EE (BBU/ESS/PSU/BMS) located in Taiwan Taipei Wugu Site. Design high power density AC/DC and DC/DC BBU systems for server, telecom, datacenter and industrial applications. Support RFI and RFQ and provide design proposals. Deliver BBU design solutions and lead design reviews with customers. Drive component standardization and cost-reduction efforts. Assume overall project responsibility from kickoff to MP, including tolerance analysis and system-level simulation to solve issues. Requires 8+ years in PSU/UPS/BBU/EV charger design, strong teamwork in multi-task environments, and the ability to research and work with new technologies. Mandarin and English communication skills are required, with willingness to travel overseas. Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer; relocation and accommodations are available as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or above degree in electronics or electrical engineering
- 8+ years' experience in PSU/UPS/BBU/EV charger design
- Experience leading R&D teams (preferred)
- Solid understanding of software implementation/design
- Ability to travel for business (dispatch overseas)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English
