Staff Digital Validation Engineer

Job Summary
Validation planning and strategy for MCU/MPU subsystems (CPU, memory, peripherals, interconnects); develop validation test cases and coverage metrics from architecture/design specs; perform post-silicon validation on silicon platforms, evaluation boards, and emulators; support pre-silicon validation/emulation; debug across hardware–software boundary; develop validation test suites in C/C++, Python, and scripting languages; build automation frameworks for regression/validation flows and data capture/logging/analysis; perform low-level debugging using JTAG, logic analyzers, scopes; work with RTL, verification, and firmware/software teams to close coverage gaps; lead large, distributed engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering (or related)
- 7–10+ years of experience in semiconductor validation (analog)
- strong hands-on background in MCU architectures
- embedded systems
- lab bring-up and silicon debug tools (JTAG, logic analyzers, scopes)
- proven ability to lead large, distributed engineering teams
- excellent communication and executive presence
