Job Summary
Design, build, and maintain core capabilities of the enterprise Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) using Go, Terraform, and Kubernetes to enable rapid application deployment across AWS and Azure. Develop scalable automation for infrastructure provisioning, deployment workflows, and secrets management while building reusable platform services that improve developer productivity. Lead architecture reviews, troubleshoot complex distributed systems, and partner with Security, Networking, and Application Engineering teams to drive reliability and operational excellence. Mentor junior engineers through design and code reviews while championing best practices including CI/CD, GitOps, and infrastructure as code.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- Extensive experience developing applications in Go (preferred), Java, C#, Python, or similar languages
- Deep experience with Kubernetes in production environments
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure
- Experience building Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
- Experience designing REST APIs and distributed systems
- Strong understanding of networking, DNS, TLS, load balancing, and cloud infrastructure
- Experience operating highly available production services
- Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry
- Experience with one or more of the following technologies: AWS EKS and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Identity and Access Management (SAML, OIDC, OAuth)
- Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Enterprise security and compliance frameworks (PCI, SOC, HIPAA, SOX)
- Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Platform engineering and Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs)
