Job Summary
Design, implement, and evolve CI/CD pipelines while promoting infrastructure as code to enhance scalability and operational excellence. Lead technical initiatives to optimize deployments, improve system reliability, and reduce technical debt through proactive monitoring, alerting, and root cause analysis. Mentor engineers across all levels by facilitating educational activities, providing actionable feedback, and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing. Drive long-term strategies for system architecture, cloud adoption, and operational excellence in partnership with cross-functional teams. Contribute to the development of Minitab's software delivery infrastructure and operational processes to advance transformative global innovation in data-driven decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or systems administration
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Strong proficiency in automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and GitHub Actions
- Strong proficiency in configuration management tools such as Ansible and Puppet
- In-depth understanding of containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
- In-depth understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash
- Proven track record of leading projects from inception to production
- Proficiency required in speaking, reading, and writing English
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for employment now or in the future
- Must be within commutable distance of State College, PA for consideration
- Remote work is not an option for this position
