Job Summary
Staff DevOps Developer at Dialogue contributing to evolving the platform infrastructure to be reliable, secure, cost-effective, up-to-date, automated and running smoothly for millions of members. Design and implement robust, secure infrastructure solutions, contribute to mid/long-term roadmaps, improve monitoring and observability, guide AI usage in development lifecycle, automate repetitive tasks, define infrastructure team objectives, and collaborate with product development and IT teams while mentoring engineers.
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with one of the three main cloud infrastructure providers: AWS, GCP, Azure
- Familiarity with deploying, configuring and managing the Kubernetes containerization platform
- Familiarity with deploying, configuring and managing firewall and intrusion detection systems.
- Familiar with tools associated with cybersecurity: firewalls, intrusion detection systems, confidentiality management, network policies, etc.
- Familiarity with managing, configuring and using a CI/CD platform: CircleCI, Travis, TeamCity, Jenkins, etc.
- Knowledge of at least one programming language: Python, Node.js, Golang, Bash, etc.
- Familiarity with automated tests: unit, integration, system, etc.
- Familiarity with configuring and using one of the surveillance system tools: Datadog, New Relic, CloudWatch, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Proficiency with Kubernetes deployment and management
- Familiarity with firewall and intrusion detection systems
- Knowledge of cybersecurity tools and network policies
- CI/CD tooling experience (CircleCI, Travis, TeamCity, Jenkins)
- Programming experience (Python, Node.js, Golang, Bash)
- Experience with automated testing (unit, integration, system)
- Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Datadog, New Relic, CloudWatch)
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset
- Hybrid work experience or ability to work in a hybrid environment
- Strong collaboration with product and IT teams
- Mentorship and leadership of engineers
- Focus on secure, cost-effective, automated infrastructure
- Experience contributing to automation and infra roadmap
- Knowledge of AI in development lifecycle is beneficial
