Job Summary
Lead the Device Program Manager role from project kickoff through mass production, managing schedules, BOMs, and cross-functional teams for video surveillance and IoT devices. Coordinate with overseas ODM partners and factories in Vietnam, Taiwan, and China to oversee hardware, firmware, software, and mechanical development. Execute end-to-end system testing, troubleshoot hardware issues, and manage regulatory certifications for product launches. Support customer care teams with field issues and drive alpha/beta trial resolutions. Manage engineering sample distributions and post-launch sustaining activities while attending design reviews with internal and external engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- BS graduate in Computer or Electrical Engineering program or equivalent technical programs
- Minimum of 5 years related experience
- Strong coordination, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to lead and work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Technically savvy with the ability to understand, test and troubleshoot end-to-end product functions involve HW, FW, Apps and Cloud
- Knowledge of battery technologies, HW design, bug tracking tools, and ability to read schematics and review PCB layout
- Must be self-motivated and driven to achieve results
- Proactive in taking ownership of issues and driving to resolution
- Teamwork - This position requires a close working relationship with the extended teams and partners
- Must be able to speak Mandarin
