Job Summary
Direct in-service educational programs in accordance with federal, state, and local standards to ensure the highest degree of quality resident care. Assist in developing objectives, policies, procedures, and in-service training programs across departments, while maintaining reports, class attendance records, and subject records. Coordinate and conduct employee training, in-services, and new-hire orientations to educate staff on nursing policies and procedures. Identify, correct, and improve problem areas in services to encourage staff participation through proper communication and presentation of programs. Requires an Alabama-licensed Registered Nurse with two years of supervisory experience and knowledge of long-term care regulations. Full-time position at Providence Park Rehabilitation & HealthCare Center in Mobile, AL.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse licensed by the State of Alabama
- two years supervisory previous experience and training staff
- knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulation and guidelines governing long-term care
- good communication skills, both verbally and written
- positive attitude toward the elderly
