Staff Development RN / ADON

Develop and maintain the annual staff development and education program for nursing personnel, coordinating general and job-specific orientations while serving as a preceptor and mentor. Plan mandatory in-services, continuing education programs, and competency validations, then assess ongoing educational needs to address identified opportunities. Oversee daily nursing department operations by supporting staffing, scheduling, and performance management, while participating in quality assurance, incident investigations, and interdisciplinary care planning. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including preparation for state surveys and regulatory inspections. Maintain accurate records of staff education, attendance, and licensure requirements.
