Job Summary
Staff Development Nurse in Private Sub Acute Rehabilitation supporting education and orientation within Joondalup Health Campus. Collaborates with the Training & Development Manager/Clinical Manager to identify educational needs, contribute to orientation, in-servicing and clinical competence programs, and support the hospital Quality Improvement process. Requires current AHPRA RN registration with extensive post-registration experience in Sub Acute Rehabilitation/Gerontology nursing; capable of educating staff in formal and informal settings; strong communication and change-management skills; preceptor program and BLS/Manual Handling & medication assessment experience are highly regarded.
Required Qualifications
- Registration with the AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated post registration and extensive experience in Sub Acute Rehabilitation/Gerontology nursing
- Be proficient in all clinical skills relevant to the chosen field
- Demonstrated ability to educate staff in formal and informal settings
- High level interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive attitude to change management
- Candidates who have completed a preceptor program and are Basic life support/Manual handling & medication assessors will be highly regarded.
