Job Summary
Staff Development & Infection Control RN leads staff education, orientation, and infection prevention programs in a Newark, DE long-term care community; collaborates with the Director of Nursing to support training, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and infection control initiatives; oversees audits, training records, OSHA/compliance activities, and vaccination documentation while partnering with interdisciplinary teams to promote safe, high-quality resident care.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Delaware or Compact State
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience (long-term care or assisted living preferred)
- Knowledge of infection control practices and regulatory requirements
- Strong communication, training, and organizational skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office
