Job Summary
Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation programs and oversee ongoing staff education and in-service training for a 94-bed skilled nursing facility. Develop, schedule, and facilitate training and competency assessments; maintain training records; ensure compliance with state and federal requirements (including OSHA and infection control); coordinate annual mandatory education; assist with CNA training, mentoring, and performance improvement; collaborate with department managers to identify development opportunities; monitor regulatory changes and update materials; support survey readiness and corrective action plans; contribute to employee engagement, retention, and career development initiatives. Requires strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills; healthcare training experience; and an RN license preferred. This is a full-time role with Monday–Friday schedule and opportunities for professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license preferred
- Healthcare training experience required
- Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or healthcare settings preferred
- Knowledge of CMS, Massachusetts Department of Public Health, and long-term care regulations
- Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic learning systems
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
