Job Summary
Conduct employee orientation and ongoing in-service education to ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements. Develop, coordinate, and provide training programs for new and existing staff while maintaining accurate education records and competency validations. Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify educational needs, monitor mandatory training, and support quality improvement initiatives through coaching. Assist with admissions as needed to support the nursing department's workflow and resident care units. This role requires a current, active RN license in Massachusetts and is available full-time at a 100-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care facility.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a current, active, and unencumbered RN license in the state of Massachusetts
- Strong ability to build positive relationships and gain support from staff at all levels
- Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of long-term care regulations, nursing education, and staff competency requirements
- Ability to effectively prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Staff Development Coordinator, Infection Preventionist, or similar educational leadership role within a nursing center or healthcare setting is preferred
