Job Summary
The Staff Development Coordinator RN is responsible for education, skills competency training, clinical observations, and quality assurance audits under the Director of Nursing Services. Role includes assisting with new employee hiring, fostering staff engagement, and championing recognition/retention programs to support growth and development within American Senior Communities. Key duties include leading education initiatives, monitoring data for educational opportunities, promoting infection prevention practices, creating a supportive and collaborative environment for residents, and partnering with nursing leadership to advance clinical education pathways and mentorship across Indiana.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Indiana RN license or ability to obtain an Indiana license
- Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers and staff (Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence)
