Job Summary
Develop and implement job skills training, in-service education, and employee health monitoring for nursing department staff. Regularly check the competency of C.N.A. skill performance, positive regard for residents, and developmental needs of direct care staff, providing one-on-one instruction immediately when necessary. Provide skill training to new staff in any deficient areas before allowing them to perform tasks with residents. Requires a Registered Nurse with three years of clinical experience, current CPR certification, and knowledge of long-term care regulations. Includes a $10K sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse
- required current state licensure
- Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience in a health care setting
- current/active CPR certification
- Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures
- laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
