Job Summary
Develop and implement job skills training and in-service education for nursing department employees, ensuring compliance with regulations and employee health monitoring. Regularly assess C.N.A. skill performance, positive regard for residents, and developmental needs, providing immediate one-on-one instruction when deficiencies are noted. Deliver targeted skill training to new staff in any deficient areas before authorizing them to perform tasks with residents. Maintain competency standards for direct care staff while fostering a culture of patient-centered care. This role offers a $10K sign-on bonus and is available to RNs with three years of clinical experience.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse
- required current state licensure
- Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience in a health care setting
- current/active CPR certification
- Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures
- laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
