Job Summary
Develop and implement job skills training, in-service education, and employee health monitoring for nursing department staff. Regularly assess C.N.A. skill performance, positive regard for residents, and developmental needs, providing immediate one-on-one instruction when deficiencies arise. Deliver skill training to new staff in any deficient areas before allowing them to perform tasks with residents. Maintain competency standards in alignment with regulations and guidelines for long-term care. This role supports Signature Healthcare's mission to revolutionize long-term care through a culture of patient-centered services and personalized spirituality.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse
- required current state licensure
- Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience in a health care setting
- current/active CPR certification
- Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures
- laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
Desired Qualifications
- long-term care setting preferred
