Job Summary
Orient and educate all nursing personnel at Bloomfield Nursing Center to ensure safe, effective care aligned with federal, state, and facility guidelines. Develop education programs addressing staff needs and teach current patient care practices. Supervise new nursing employees during orientation, perform annual competency testing, and clinically appraise staff performance to identify training gaps. Provide oversight to the Employee Health Program, administering and tracking tuberculosis, hepatitis, and influenza immunizations for all employees. Report directly to the Director of Nursing. Requires current RN license and three years of clinical experience, with two years in long-term care and one year as an educator preferred. Full-time day shift role with a salary range of $68,640 to $76,960.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- current RN license
- Excellence in clinical nursing skills
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum three years full-time or equivalent clinical experience
- Two years of clinical experience in long-term care nursing
- one year as an educator
- Experience in Gerontology
- Training and/or experience in adult learning
