Job Summary
Staff Development Coordinator coordinates, develops, and conducts training programs for Salemtowne associates to ensure effective resident care and regulatory compliance; serves as Salemtowne’s Infection Preventionist, leads onboarding and annual in-services, coordinates regulatory/compliance in-services for CCRCs, and delivers training across healthcare software (Paycom LMS, Care Tracker, Accuflo, MatrixCare); creates teaching aids, facilitates CNA training and annual skills assessments, collects data for reports, participates in QAA/QAPI, coordinates Flu and COVID booster clinics, and supports infection prevention tracking and reporting; requires RN license (NC) and a Bachelor’s in nursing/adult education, with 3-5 years in adult education and SPICE Infection Prevention Certification or attainment within 1 year of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing/adult education
- Active RN license for NC or reciprocity from another state
- 3-5 years in adult education
- SPICE Infection Prevention Certification or obtainable within 1 year of hire
- Experience in developing and facilitating nursing/healthcare education programs
- MatrixCare experience preferred
- Experience with training programs, onboarding, and LMS (Paycom)
- Ability to coordinate regulatory/compliance trainings and on-site nursing/healthcare education programs
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and meet physical requirements as described
