Job Summary
Assess learning needs and design in-service and continuing education programs based on quality assurance data to meet regulatory guidelines. Develop, implement, communicate, and evaluate the annual training plan while creating specific teaching programs for all facility roles. Coordinate and manage orientation for new employees and serve as the Infection Prevention/Control Coordinator, designing systems to monitor and prevent infections among residents and staff. Work with the Director of Nursing to ensure quality care standards and facility policies are upheld. Requires current unrestricted RN license, CPR certification, and experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing.
Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse
- Current CPR certificate
