Staff Development Coordinator RN

Assess resident needs to design and coordinate staff development programs, including orientation, CPR training, and in-service education for licensed and unlicensed personnel. Conduct observed skills evaluations and annual competency assessments for nursing staff and CNAs with the Director of Nursing. Manage the Employee Health program, oversee OSHA/Risk Management documentation, and ensure all training meets state, federal, and accreditation requirements. Assist in department budget preparation and monitor employee performance for compliance issues.
